Located at the Northeast end of the villiage of Mompiche, only a 2-3 minute walk to the bustling, yet small center. The hotel is gated and ample parking is available inside the gates. I was greeted by Jose, one of the property managers who was very friendly. Upon checking in, he asked me what I wanted for breakfast the next day and when I wanted it (breakfast was included in my reservation). Property is located in the center of the city of Esmeraldas in easy walk to restaurants and other facilities. We had a feel of being in the Caribbean. Our room was pleasant, comfortable and included a sitting area. Breakfast was good and the lady that prepared and served it was quite pleasant.

I booked this lodge in November and arrived in march. Expedia did not inform them of my arrival (pre-payed ) All the staff do not speak English .I had to call my previous hotel for a translator .I showed them my conformation . They were booked out ,but made a room available to me for 3 lovely days. This is a very isolated area , a national park .Tulipe is a small town of maybe 50 people on a cobble road . What a peaceful place. they have historical dig sites all over the hills. a small museum...

We loved the lodge and the excursions. My one complaint was with the transportation provided back to Quito. The driver was driving far too fast for road conditions and several people ended up vomiting from car sickness

Beautiful place

Relaxing and lovely grounds in safe and secure setting. Though I travelled alone, I have every intention to return with my family. The staff work hard to give the guests an excellent stay. I appreciated the cleanliness and efficiency. Overall, highly recommend.
