"It was a lovely cottage on a quiet street in one of our favorite towns. "

"Overall this was a good stay, rooms were nice and clean and there was plenty of space for 10 adults to stay. However, both ovens failed to heat properly which made cooking a bit of a pain. Check in process was not great, only being able to arrive between 5-6, the owner did not respond to any prior messages. Despite this, the local area was stunning, and the house was fit for purpose and good value considering the price of other locations in the area for a group this size."

"Beautiful cosy cottage with many period features and stunning Wye Valley view.The drive up is scary - a hairpin bend that can only be done in first gear and reversing up the hill to get into the parking spot. Much wheel spin happened while we got used to it! 4X4 recommended.NB - there is a TV but no satellite box so get used to watching in real time again or light the fire and watch the flames.Bring your own extra loo roll, sharp knife and tin opener and be prepared for fridge tetris.So quiet...

The house is very nice with lots of little touches that made a big difference (well equipped kitchen, board games etc.).Peaceful location with access to lots of nice walks nearby.Host was lovely and even made us some homemade treats for when we checked in. "Really lovely place to stay, it was a great holiday home, literally smack bang in the middle of the Forrest of Dean so most things were only a 5 mins car ride or 15 mins on the bike. Owners provided everything we needed, would definitely recommend"

"Property was so cosy and clean. The views were to die for. Extremely remote snd lovely and quiet but not too far to be able to drive to certain places. Thankfully the owner of the property made our stay work after the booking agent hadnt informed her we were coming as she had no knowledge we were booked in."
