"An oasis of calm in a lovely small historic city. Make sure you use the pool and garden and enjoy a glass of champagne during happy hour, outside if the sun is shining! Wonderful short stay!"

White Hart, Exeter by Marston's Inns
10/10 Excellent
"Lovely hotel. Spacious clean and comfortable room. Friendly and helpful staff.
Good choices for breakfasts.
Relaxing and great atmosphere in bars and secret garden.
Oldy woldy design...great."
"Everything was good except the very stained dirty looking chair that spoilt the otherwise spotless room. The chair may have been cleaned but the staining looked disgusting. Surprised as the management should be looking at it from a visitos perspective."
"Very accommodating staff. Arrived on one of the hottest days of the year. Staff member offered me an air conditioning unit. He’d also tried to keep the room as cool as possible, prior to check in. Would recommend people to stay here. "
"I checked in on an incredibly hot day when the air conditioning wasn't working as it should. The lady at reception moved my room without being asked to make sure the room I was checked into had air con. When I got to my room, it had clearly been prepared with the heat in mind - the curtains were closed against the direct sunlight and a fan was running - the room was lovely and cool, a nice reprieve from the heat outside. Staff are polite and incredibly helpful. "
"Very comfortable and well-maintained hotel in the central city. Convenient to the central rail stop. Be sure to check out The Ship Inn just next door for a pint or a pub meal."
