"Lovely place to stay. The swimming pool was a real bonus for a hot day. Accommodation is basic but comfortable, as is the site. Great location for walking into town for bars, shops etc. Lots of lovely walking routes nearby."

"Good location, great views, interesting area for walking and birds. The seating area outside the apartment would be a lovely place to relax with a glass of wine but when we were there it was too cold! Berzocana is a delightful village with rustic pub and bars, and a helpful village website. We look forward to coming again in better weather. Unfortunately it was chilly but the owner offered us some extra heaters which made a big difference."

"We had a relaxing stay in this peaceful location. The house is well equipped and very clean. Susana our host lives nearby and checked in with us via text. She was friendly and not intrusive. The pool kept our children entertained. There is plenty to do in the area if you dont mind a drive. The only issue was the patchy internet which cannot be helped given the rural location. We were happy to disconnect for a while and relax. We would book again."

"Very well equipped and spacious. In a very quiet location (apart from bird song!) Nice countryside for walks and birds. Not too far to drive to Mérida, Cáceres or Trujillo. Very friendly and helpful hosts. The bathroom is on the ground floor and the lower part of the stairs to and from the bedroom don't have a hand rail which might not suit everyone, particularly in the night."

"A great location by the river which is good for swimming. Full of interesting mill workings but a very comfortable house. Off grid electrics so the cooking facilities are a bit limited. In an isolated but beautiful valley and good walking paths ."
