"Brilliant relaxing 3 night stay If you want some peace and quiet and a base for York then this is the place .. Brilliant bird of prey sanctuary behind it also. 9 mile drive or taxi ride into York ( 30 mins) Will definitely return…"

"Great hotel the rooms are spacious and very well decorated. The bathroom had a fabulous shower and again great size. The shower cubicle had some mould in the seal which was a shame. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. Breakfast was great and cooked to order. We will definitely return"
