"The staff was AMAZING. So kind and happy to chat about the property. It’s definitely historic but clean. No frills and comfy beds, and you can’t beat the location. Thank you Cary House for a great 4th of July weekend stay!"

Best Western Plus Placerville Inn

"There was no working elevator which if you're on the 3rd floor or 1st floor, good luck with carrying your stuff up and down. Everything else was great. The pool and spa are well maintained. I love that some rooms have sliding doors to go outside and some right out to the pool area. Breakfast was of great quality. It's in a quiet area but close of a drive to their downtown area."

Rodeway Inn Jackson - Martell

"This was a great little spot. It had a beautiful pool on the hillside, where I took my complimentary coffee and breakfast, and the room was super clean. It must have been remodeled recently, and they did a great job. None of the hallmark bad paint lines or any of that stuff you often see in a budget motel. I'd say it was great for the price, but that makes it sound like it was nice for an inexpensive motel. It was just really nice place."

Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Jackson by IHG

"We usually stay at the Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites while visiting family in Jackson. The staff was friendly and professional, and the property, parking lot, room, common areas, and pool were clean and safe. The only things that would have made this stay a little better were lounge chairs in the pool area and a stronger bathroom fan. There was no place to lie by the pool, and the bathroom fan does not clear the steam from the shower very well. Otherwise, another nice stay!"

"The motel was reasonable for the night's stay. The staff were friendly and very accommodating when we asked for more pillows. The bed was comfortable. However, the carpet in our room is very old and there was a terrible, large black spot in our room. I don't know what it was. The carpeting needs to be replaced, if only done in that room. When we arrived, the motel was full. Parking approved for 1 car only."
