"Lovely place to stay . 20 mins walk into the centre. We went with two other couples and we all really enjoyed our stay. Good home cooked food. The couple who run it made sure we had a good time. "

"The location was fantastic, we loved looking out of the window and seeing sheep and cows in the garden. The views were amazing that sometimes we found ourselves just watching the little lambs and calves wandering around outside. The property itself was well appointed and we had everything we needed. It looked exactly as it did online. We had some questions on the property prior to booking and Ruth was quick to respond. The information pack sent prior to arrival provided lots of info on walks, restaurants etc.We loved the place and would definitely return. If anyone is looking for a peaceful retreat with lots of gorgeous walks on your doorstep, I would 100% recommend."

"Didn't stay here long, only for 1 night, but I could have easily stayed for a week. Really good location and easy to find. Could sleep two people nicely and love that you can cook in your own room, should you wish, not for me but it may suit other people but loved that you had that option. Aircon was really good too. I stayed in room 6, a couple of floors up and that noise from the outside sitting area from the pub was fairly quiet. When I first arrived I thought 'great, it's a pub, this should be interesting' but I was pleasantly surprised, I'd definitely stay again if I was up that way. Everything was easy from check in to check out, drop your keys off in the letter box and you're good to go, so you can leave really early if you need to, like I had to."
