Paul and Tracey were wonderful and friendly. Beautiful place, great breakfast, comfortable bed and quiet. Would definitely stay again if we were in the area again.
We really enjoyed staying at the treasure of a Bed & Breakfast. It was within walking distance of some fabulous restaurants and Paul was a very gracious host!
A charming historic B and B in peaceful Fairhaven,
This is a charming B and B with a historic twist having been the residence of FDR's maternal grandparents and which he visited as a boy. We loved our cute little attic room. Comfy beds and immaculately maintained. Upstairs rooms are a steep climb for those with gimpy knees but the ambience made up for that.

This historic property is an oasis of calm and comfort. We will go back as often as we can.
Cute little B&B smack dab in the historic part of fairhaven and walkable to local restaurants. I did get the 3rd floor room, which on one hand was a 3rd floor, on the other hand, absolutely wonderful and I'd deal with the stairs again to get it. There was a neat view of the area, the bathroom was large with a claw foot tub, and it was it's only little spot away from everything else. The person that checked me in was also friendly and helpful and breakfast was great.
We really enjoyed our stay at the Delano Homestead Bed & Breakfast. The bedroom and bathroom were comfortable, extremely clean, and relaxing. Tracy and Paul were so friendly and welcoming. This was the perfect place for a weekend away.
The Homestead had authentic period details, along with modern conveniences such as USB plugs for devices, pleanty of lighting in our room and the most comfortable bed in the world! Breakfast was also great!
The hosts of this historical landmark are very accommodating and friendly. The hearty breakfasts, stunning decor, cozy accommodations (especially the bed), and serene grounds make for the perfect getaway. We can't wait to return.
We had a wonderful stay at the Delano Homestead. Tracey and Paul made us feel very welcome and comfortable in the home, they are lovely people who clearly enjoy people and keeping an Inn. The folks we met at breakfast were friendly and the location is great for walking and visiting SouthCoast towns.
WOW! What a great place. Paul and Tracey were not only hospitable, but great historical information of the house and surrounding areas.
Tracey made a great breakfast both days and made us feel very comfortable. Very friendly and accommodating. She's the best!
My wife and I will most definitely be coming back!
Our stay at the Delano Homestead B&B was nothing short of wonderful. Tracey was more than accommodating, super pleasant and quite knowledgeable of the property and area.
The building and historical nod was stunning and welcoming. Our room was so comfortable, well decorated and clean, it truly felt like home. An easy get away, with wonderful, caring staff and a robust breakfast to boot! Definitely on our list to return soon.
I would give 6 stars if possible!
Beautiful house, full of history. Great feeling knowing that one of our greatest Presidents once roamed the same hallways. The house is extremely well maintained. Bedroom very comfortable. Paul and Tracey go out of their way to truly make you feel at home. They are both welcoming and flexible. Breakfast to suit all tastes; fresh and delicious. Other guests were charming and a pleasure with whom to have shared the table. Enjoyed walking around town, and sitting in the garden under the trees enjoying the shade and the cool breeze. Lovely weekend. Thank you.
One of the loveliest and most charming places we’ve ever stayed; I wish we’d been staying more than just one night, and intend to in the future. The historic house itself is beautifully detailed with furnishings appropriate to its era—the attention to detail is remarkable, yet fully outfitted with comforts and utilities of 21st-century life (USB charging ports, Roku streaming). The absolute best of both worlds. The breakfast was hearty and delicious, the company of other guests was delightful, and Paul and Tracey were at all times gracious, accommodating, friendly, and informative hosts. Simply can’t say enough good things!
This is a beautiful, private property with staff who want you to feel at home. The limited number of rooms means it is quiet and relaxed. Guests will find snacks, coffee and tea in the kitchen, lovely public rooms and the private garden to enjoy. And the breakfast was terrific. You can help yourself to eggs, bacon, fruits and pastries. Just ask for what you need, and the manager will make every effort to accommodate.
Tracy was amazing. We pulled up and there she was working in the front flowerbed. After the tour of the beautiful house we went to our rooms immediately and unpack and unwind. This place and it’s history was very interesting. We had a great nights sleep in a very comfortable bed. Although there were 6 guest all together upstairs it was incredibly quite. We met some fantastic guest. The whole stay was amazing. Thank you Tracy and Paul.
