"Truly beautiful Italian farmhouse/villa. This is a stunning property in all aspects. Meticulously kept grounds, pool clean with lovely lounge chairs. Room was beautiful and well appointed. View to Orvieto is breathtaking. Food was delicious, Staff were all 5 star. This property is up hill and other side from orvieto, and required a cab ride daily, which was not cheap, and there are only 4 cabs in Orvieto, however, they did come fast when called. One might consider a car rental next time, which is conveniently located outside train station."

"This resort is beautiful and intimate. The restaurant is amazing. Mama is a WONDERFUL cook. It is family run and everyone in the family is visible and approachable and very focused on their guests truly enjoying themselves. It’s a short drive from the Saturnia Hot Springs, Manciano, and Montemerano. All beautiful places to visit. The wine was tasty but the OLIVE OIL was the real star for me. "

"This is a great hotel. Orvieto was our last stop in Italy and we decided not to stay in town. The hotel is 10 minutes drive to Orvieto. It sits on top of a hill overlooking vineyards and hills in all directions. It has a beautiful pool. Very good fitness gym building with views. Great restaurant with good prices similar to places in town. Fantastic free breakfast, really top notch fancy! Free parking. Our room had a small deck with a nice view. We really liked staying here for our Orvieto visit. "

"Loved the property we enjoyed a beautified suite in the new wing which I highly recommend. Staff was very friendly and accommodating from the moment we have arrived. Loved the feel of the resort totally relaxes you from the moment you arrive. Dining was wonderful although be weary of the fact that some of the waters aroma in the air may affect the taste of your food or wine especially at dinner time. So I would recommend indoor dining for that reason. We did however enjoyed the feel of the property - we did not play golf but would love to try it next time we go back "

"We had a wonderful experience with our stay. Breakfast was definitely worthwhile, and we enjoyed the family friendly atmosphere of the stay. I loved staying in a castle too and having incredible views. While the bedroom was nothing flash, the bathroom was modern and renovated which is what you want! We also really enjoyed the fortress tour as well, we learnt a lot about how the fortress protected itself with tricks and traps. "

"This is a very nice - charming, small hotel with excellent service. It's old and at the same time is very well kept. Staff and service were amazing, including service desk, pool bar and restaurant. Great restaurant on the property, excellent food. And amazing views all around!"

"Stayed here to go over and swim in the Cascata near Saturnia. Nice place. The front entrance is pretty and easy to spot from the road. The parking spots are fun. You park between olive trees. There are two outdoor pools. Both are relaxing and there are lounge chairs and umbrellas to use. The nearby restaurant Osteria La Fransca is quite nice. Had several pasta dishes and the tiramisu is wonderful. Wine is made right there on site. Cute little vineyard. It’s Italian wine country. Grapes everywhere. Keys to the rooms are old fashioned mechanical keys with large dongles on them so you don’t lose the room keys. Bathrooms have built in hairdryers which are nice. WiFi is decent and fast. Streamed some Netflix mo irs and shows before bed time. "

"Our stay was incredible, a unique experience, beautiful place, close to the main tourist attractions, great food nearby, and the hotel's Enoreca has excellent wines. There is a supermarket just a few steps away. It couldn't have been better. We loved it so much that we extended our stay."
