We spotted lots of wildlife including birds, deers and a koala. Matthew was an exceptional host who was responsive and friendly. "This is not worth the cost. It is basically a farm stay surrounded by introduced trees with the faint smell of cow dung and the sound of gun shots. It may be near beautiful native trees of the Otways, but they are not accessible. The property map provided is out of date and access to the waterfalls hasn't been maintained. Be prepared for long arduous walks and rock climbing to access them. We stayed for a week on daily rates but had no top up of supplies. We had to supply our own soap, bin...

"This cabin was a delight. Large, warm, and set amidst a beautiful forest near the sea by a short walk. Koalas in trees were an amazing highlight. Also near the Cape Otway lighthouse with fascinating history. "
