"Unwashed cup in the room and empty shampoo dispencer. Pool closed for this "spa weakend." Hotel unable to provide a cooked breakfast and reluctant to offer a rebate. Premises dirty and staff surly. Bar service poor and prolonged delays in the dining room in spite of pre-ordered food. Far from the expected standard of a 4star establishment"

"Sarah and Stuart are wonderful hosts, the breakfast is amazing, the rooms are delightful and the bed was so comfy. As always, we were made to feel so welcome. Would highly recommend a stay here in this wonderful home. "

"A lovely welcome by the reception staff. No problems with the room and had a good breakfast.
The only very small thing I noticed was some not very clean public areas, such as the stairs and the outside windows in the staircase (very dirty). Hokwever, they did not affect our stay.
Slightly disappointed that we had to pay for hotel car parking.
Very central location, handy for the city centre and easy to navigate to."
