"Whilst we did like the house - it was spacious & had all you need for a nice stay, and the owner left some very nice welcoming bits.Unfortunately not so the location - we feel as though the photos are quite misleading as to the street - we had the impression that the street would be made up of similar houses but there was literally two houses and then shuttered up pub & various other not to nice buildings....For this reason sadly we would not return to this holiday home 😥"

"This is a converted pub with an Indian Restaurant on the ground floor. Food very good cooked to taste, no breakfast offered/available. Rooms clean but dated. TV not tuned in, only BBC channels available. Good shower/bathroom. "

"This is a quiet country like cottage. Owners are not maintaining the property, grass was long and unkept, kitchen had greasy walls, dirty blinds. The main bedroom had an ant infestation. I had to was raid to kill the nest under the window. The driveway backs on to an abandoned building that has garbage piles. The main road that the hohae is on is like a race track, lots of loud cars roaring by. Kitchen has a poor amount of glasses to drink from. Very dirty, especially when they charge a cleaning fee over and above the rental cost. Communication with the renter was difficult because the number on expedia is fake. Waited over an hour to check in because they would not send me the access code. Had to get Expedia involved."

"This stay was amazing! The home is so beautiful and so is Dystart. There is a great cafe about a 5 minute walk from the home. The bus stop is also nearby, with a line taking you directly into Edinburgh. I can’t recommend enough! "
