"My overall experience was great. The hotel is going through improvements scaffolding outside et cetera. Some of the hotel is very tired. The reception area is lovely. The staff are wonderful and is in a fantastic place for everything in Brighton. I’ve stayed there before and would stay there again I’m sure when everything has finished the hotel will be a wonderful place once again. Staff were very helpful."

"This hotel is currently undergoing refurbishment. Unfortunately the air conditioning was out of order for the bulk of my stay and a standing fan placed in the room instead. Carpet was very worn. It looked like the en suite may have already been refurbished but the shower was off bad design and leaked into the bathroom floor. Staff didn't engage when I returned each day (stayed five nights). Breakfast was excellent and the staff there very helpful. Great location to the seafront and Brighton Centre."
