"If you're looking for a unique property, this one is it! "
"Checking was easy. However at midnight the front desk attendant was at my door knocking asking my name. He had an older couple with him. I assume he was trying to rent out my room and this couple couldn’t open the door so he came with them. I told him my name and he said ok and left. 10 minutes later he was back with another attendant and an iPad asking me to open the door. I did and he asked my name again. When I gave it again he showed me his iPad and said where. I found it and point it out to him. He said I was supposed to be in a different room. I showed him my key which he earlier had given me and wrote in the key myself the room I was in. He said ok and left. Apart from this strange occurrence, the stay was pleasant. Hotel is new. Room is basic and was clean and comfortable."
"The house is very clean, cute, and well equipped. We were glad for the coffeemaker and the mini fridge, as well as the powerful AC units. The main bed was comfy, 8/10, and the bunk bed was alright, 4/10 (my only gripe). The property is beautiful, and I loved sitting out on the covered porch while it was raining. The rental is about 15 minutes from La Grange, which was nice. We had everything we needed, felt safe, and enjoyed all the pine trees. The host was also the perfect mix of communicative via the app, and hands-off in person. Will absolutely check this place first when I next come back into town."
"Staff was courteous, Rooms were clean air conditioning was fantastic. Nice bed lots of hot water! Great waffles and coffee in the morning fruit and cereal as well. Enjoyed our stay here will be back."

"Howdy Ranch was the perfect bookend to our summer. We wanted a weekend away to enjoy each other and be outdoors. The pond was loved by all including the dogs! The water toys (john boat, kayak and paddleboat) were great to have access to. We did a lot of front porch sitting, dock fishing, cooking on the fire pit and admiring the sunset. Disclaimer, we have no idea if the tvs work…never had a reason to turn them on! "
"This place was great, plenty to do! Plenty of fun all around! No problems with ac or anything house wise. The 13 of us stayed comfortably and had lots of fun grilling and catfishing on the dock. Hope to be back!"
