"I felt that because I made my reservation with hotels.com I was like a second class citizen. When I called to request a quiet room on a high floor I was told that they could not promise me a room till I showed up. When I arrived promptly at the appointed check-in time I was told that all of the upper floor rooms were taken and I would have to take a room on the ground floor. One other item of note is that there was no good way to darken the bedroom as the blinds were not of the kind that kept out a lot of light and there were no shades on the door or windows. So we woke up at dawn both days we stayed there."

"What a peaceful stay. Since our stay was in October we were lucky enough to experience a more relaxed Door County as well as the delightful autumn planters and decorations on the grounds. Very lovely. We made the most of the breakfast buffet both mornings and were pleasantly surprised by the variety and quality of the offerings. A return visit next fall has been discussed."

"I requested a first floor room near the pool because I was traveling with an elderly legally blind man and meeting with a client with mobility limitations. Our room was instead at the top of the stairs and Dad got lost on the elevator. If the hotel can’t accommodate the need, the guest should be notified at the time of booking. Breakfast was great, though."

"Super cute and quaint! Clean room, friendly guests and there was a fire pit at night to gather around. Great location, walkable to local restaurants and shops. They are dog friendly too which is awesome!"

Unique Setting - Built on Quarry Bed

"Wonderful, clean, perfect location for our trip to explore the Peninsula. The hosts are very welcoming and will answer any questions you have and made our short vacation memorable. Our pooch even had a great time. We hope to return for another visit sooner than later. The history of the Quarry site for their home is really amazing. Highly recommend!!"
