"The lake is beautiful. Water level is very high so the beach is very small currently. My family did a lot of fishing off the dock and had success. We were disappointed to find that the property was a converted camper/house type thing. This meant that camper areas were quite small (bedrooms/bathroom.) This also meant that windows let in bugs easily. The porch was very nice and big. Stating that the bathroom and kitchen were "brand new" is not completely true. The bathtub/shower is NOT new and the fridge was fine but definitely not new. Only a few windows had coverings otherwise you are exposed to the neighbors. A few things were missing in the kitchen...we went to make pancakes and there was no whisk, no cooking oil/spray/butter of any sort, no griddle. The owners live right on the property and happily gave us some butter when asked. Other things that were annoying but not deal breakers: only 3/4 roll of toilet paper provided (we brought our own so not a huge deal,) not enough beach towels (there were 4 of us and there were 3,) since there is no washer/dryer you definitely NEED to bring extra bath/beach/hand towels. I'm sure we could have asked for all the things but we did not want/nor should have to since many other reviews state not enough towels. We luckily read that beforehand so we brought extra. All and all my husband and I would say that it was "fine." The kids absolutely loved it and that matters most. Would we stay again? Probably not."

"Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Home was great! Clean inside, the home required the dishes to be done, no dish washer detergent and one one hand towel. Maybe a few more hand towels would be good and some dish washer detergent. Outside could of been more kept up more. Weeds growing everywhere and needed to be mowed. But the place was comfortable and cozy."

"This cabin is in a quiet wooded area with a view of Cedar Lake that is really beautiful. Kayaks, a canoe and even a pontoon boat are available. We thoroughly enjoyed every minute of our stay! Cabin is close to wineries, waterfront restaurants, breweries and downtown TC. Favorite spots were Sleeping Bear Dunes, Mission Lighthouse and Historic Fishtown. 10/10 experience!"

Walk to everything, including the beach right out the front door. Up North Vacation Rentals was amazing in handling our needs, I would absolutely rent again from this property management team. In fact, we've already booked another week! Thank you."

Our rooms were comfortable and the cabin is in a good location, where you feel like you're away from everything, yet you're close to all the fun shops in Traverse City."

"House is conveniently located to visit a lot of the north western cities which had great shopping, boutique shops and restaurants.Property was clean and charming. Comfortable and quiet.
