"We had a one night stay between our cruise disembarkation day and our flight home from FCO the next. The location is very close to the FCO airport (15 minutes drive) and two blocks from the beach. The hotel is clean and staff very friendly and accommodating. The only downside was the wifi was a little spotty at times but we didn’t use it much anyways and had data plans on our phones. Would stay again."

Hotel Tiber Rooftop & Wellness

10/10 Excellent

"Great modest hotel for the price and convenience! We had an overnight stay prior to flying out of Rome. We spent around three hours just sitting up at the rooftop lounge and enjoying drinks and some surprisingly great food and watching the boats come into the port! So relaxing. Also had a dinner and the next morning breakfast in the hotel. It was great and the staff were very pleasant and helpful! Would definitely stay there again!. We used their airport shuttle which was well priced and on time."

"The front desk staff, particularly one team member, came across as unwelcoming and overly formal rather than warm and hospitable — not the greeting experience one expects from a hotel. The level of helpfulness was unfortunately below expectations. For those considering a stay, you may find better options elsewhere. Regarding booking: contacting the hotel directly may result in better rates, as third-party platforms."

"Perfect place if you're getting in late one night and departing early the next day. Easy to get to and from the Rome airport. Room was very well set up for travelers -- plenty of places to drop your bags, pack/unpack/repack, etc. Would have been nice if the water in the room wasn't an additional charge, but so be it. Restaurant staff was very nice, pricing was reasonable, food was OK. It's the only choice, but it was OK. Price we were charged was higher than what was quoted, but not by much, so not worth the hassle to worry about it. Would stay here again."

"Stayed there for 1 night only for our travel out of Rome. Excellent location in a very vibrant neighborhood with a lot of trattorias nearby. Rooms were clean and spacious. Hotel staff were super nice and helpful. Would stay there again on my next trip to Rome, and hopefully for longer than 1 night."

"Bien situé; près de la gare, des restaurants, cafés et épicerie. Ascenseur, propre et calme, espace suffisant. Sinon, les fenêtre donnent sur une vieille cour intérieur qui enlève le goût d'ouvrir les rideaux. Notre lit double était composé de 2 lits simple et nous sentions la séparation ainsi que des attaches en long."

"The family room layout and furniture worked well for our family of four. It had one king bed and two twin beds, plus a desk and a couple of chairs. The room had a wall AC unit that kept the room at a very comfortable temperature, but the unit itself was a bit noisy at times. I only had two complaints about the room. Firstly, the pillows were very flat and I found them uncomfortable, but that is personal preference. Second, while the room met our needs, I did expect it to be a bit nicer with the 4 star rating. The breakfast worked out well and the location of the hotel was convenient. We arrived in Rome by train and were able to walk to the hotel from the Termini station. There is also an entrance to the metro line A right outside the door of the hotel. This is convenient for traveling to the area of Vatican City and other sites. We were able to walk to the Trevi fountain and Spanish Steps one afternoon (about 3.5 miles in total) and we also walked to the Colloseum. Overall, the hotel worked well for us, but my expectations of the room may have been a bit high."
