"We had a great experience with the stay. The room was just above a street across from shopping. The building is historical and has SO MUCH character. Or room was very cozy and the staff was amazing. "Simple and cozy. Located 20-minute walk to free cruise shuttle. Excellent restaurants and coffee bar within a block. The owner, Stefan, (speaks English) is very warm, hospitable, helpful and welcoming. Great place to stay before and after cruising. Booking was easy! Go into town and buy a bottle of wine and enjoy a glass on the terrace at sunset. We'll remember our stays there fondly. When/If we go to Civitavecchia again, we will ALWAYS stay there. "Very close to the Termini and all the transportation you need for Rome. The room was really nice except the mattress was horrible unfortunately and needs to be replaced - very uncomfortable. The other issue was our constant battle with the electronic door lock to get in the main apartment door - the host was unresponsive to our request for help. "Location was good a responsiveness to questions was excellent. Took a little bit to figure out how to get in the building then in and out of our room, but we figured it out. Mattress and pillows were much harder than we are used to. Overall a good value for the money and I would recommend. We felt safe. "

"Most everything was pretty good. The staff were excellent, very helpful and understanding. They spoke Italian and English well. Our room was a Jr suit. It was quit large. It was odd though, we had a sofa seating area but no TV. The TV was on the wall in the bed area. It would have been nice to have a TV in the seating area for guests or when one was sleeping in bed and the other wanted to watch TV without disturbing the bed sleeper. The room looked updated with tile floors. The bathroom was nice...
