We fly home from Rome once or twice a year and it’s always a headache! The taxi ride is too long to Trevi and the hotels are impossible to stay with tons of luggage!! We were totally delighted with our stay—everything was perfect. But the best part was the warmth and care that the mother and son give to their guests. They arranged our pickup from Rome Airport and when we arrived the son was there to greet us and carry our bags, show us the guesthouse and our room that had a balcony overlooking the promenade and sea. The location is very near the ship terminal but at our request he arranged for a taxi for us to go to our ship. We will definitely stay there...

The location of the property is perfect almost all buses stop nearby Argentina stop name).Take bus 40 or 64 to go to the Vatican drop you literally 5min from the entrance. Bus 62 or 491 takes you to the Bus terminale for those nooking a bus trip tp other area...We came frpm Pompei, had my other hotel booked there. Property and rooms were extremely tastefully appointed. The general manager was very, very accommodating. Located in perfect area. Within a few minutes walk from St. Peter’s Basilica and the Vatican. The “road” where hoel is located, is Pio Borgo, just for pedestrians, full with sidewalk cafes and restaurants. Perfect spot to be staying. Alex, Marco, & their children were extremely helpful in getting us from the airport, providing help in figuring out transportation to the sites we wanted to see, having amazing breakfasts, assisting us in ordering dinner in, & just making our stay fantastic! We loved the big balcony & spacious room with all the really nice amenities! We stayed for 3 nights & would definitely recommend it!

It is not possible to have a cleaner room than this one. There are beautiful marble floors, pristine and modern bathroom, and table and fridge with varied beverages and snacks included in the price. Francesco is also an excellent host, explaining everything in detail and patiently answering any questions. If I am ever in Civitavecchia again, this will be my abode of choice!

This is an excellent property. The house keeper are extremely nice and courteous. The only feedback I have is that the manager could have given us better instructions of how to get to the property before our arrival . Other than that, everything is excellent

Excellent people. Very nice and accommodating. The only issue we had was getting in the front door on the morning we arrived. The hotel is part of an apartment building and we weren’t sure how to get in to a resident opened the door for us. Other than that, we couldn’t have asked for a better stay at a better location.

My fiancée and I travelled from Boston to Rome, and decided to take a chance on this hotel, as it was in very close proximity to a friend we were visiting. We were incredibly glad that we did! The location is incredible for a tourist – we were able to walk to every site we wanted to visit. The hotel has been completely renovated just weeks before we stayed. What a perfect introduction to Rome for our kids, staying right in mine and my husband’s favorite piazza. Our room (apartment, really) was spacious, clean, and surprisingly quiet for the location. We appreciated the helpful and friendly staff, and having an in-room espresso maker. One of my children had a cold so we had to take it easy one day, and having a smart TV where we could access our Netflix account helped - although we wouldn't normally care, it was great to entertain a sick kid....

Relais Rione Ponte was a perfect location. It was everything we dreamed of for our elopement trip to Rome. We flew into town from Chicago via London Heathrow. Our luggage was lost and missing for 36 hours. Relais staff worked incredibly hard to contact the airport and ensure that we got our luggage as quickly as possible.
