"Absolutely wonderful Carriage House. An easy walk to either Woodstock proper or the fabulous Billings Farm Museum. Located on a very quiet and private drive, the home is like a treehouse in the woods. Very comfortable bed, wonderful full bath and a kitchen full of new appliances. The property was exceedingly clean and well equipped, with a full laundry downstairs. There are even bikes to use in the garage. Couldn’t have been a better stay! Highly recommended. Thank you for hosting us in your lovely carriage house."

Historic Riverside Home with Sauna & Covered Porch

"We enjoyed our stay and would go back to this rental. We loved opening the windows or sitting at the outside table and listening to the river. The yard was very private and the gardens were pretty. Unfortunately the hammock wasn’t there, maybe due to the storm that occurred right before our arrival, and the grass around the two chairs by the river was overgrown. The location of the house was perfect. My husband was able to fish from the backyard and we enjoyed walking to town to shop, eat, and stop by the farmers market. We hiked at the nearby national park and at Quechee Gorge which were both a short drive away. The management company was very responsive to the two issues that we needed help with. The folks that came to the house were friendly and helpful.A few things that others might want to be aware of before renting are that the kitchen cabinets and the microwave are very high up. I’m short so I needed to use the provided stepstool to reach them. Also, there is plenty of counter space in the kitchen, but not much cabinet space available. The rooms on the second floor are lovely, but the stairs are very narrow which is typical for an antique house. Overall we had a great experience and would enjoy returning to this relaxing house on the river."

"Beautiful home - inside and out! Kat was a wonderful host and made us feel safe and welcome. Her communication was kind, quick, and helpful. We enjoyed the amenities and attention to detail; we had all items needed for a stay. It was clean, well stocked, and you can absolutely tell this home is loved. When we arrived, we had fresh eggs in the fridge and cold bottle water. Nakita was such a fun roommate to have on the property, we loved greeting her in the mornings with snacks. We would come back to this place in a heartbeat. Great vibes, great stay, lovely town!"
