"On the River Inn is a beautiful hotel with lovely grounds, comfortable and spacious rooms, good beds, and an excellent breakfast. I was sorry that I couldn't have stayed a few more nights. I recommend this hotel to anyone who wants a quiet, comfortable, welcoming, relaxing place to stay."

"This place was adorable and perfect. The family room was very spacious, and had two queen beds plus a very adorable bunkbed that comfortably fit my teenage children. They have a beautiful property in the back with fire pits where we were able to start our own fire and enjoy nature. The location was great, wish we could’ve stayed more nights!"

"This might be my favorite booking of all time! The house is adorable. I especially appreciated the amount of comfortable seating in the common areas for the family to hang out in. The house was well-equipped and the hosts were very welcoming. The location is great (driving over the covered bridge to see a field of green felt like entering a dream!) Don’t miss this gem!"

"My only complaint is that our television didn't work. And we told the staff member setting up the evening wine and cheese that and she said someone else had also had the problem. We had had a thunderstorm and thought that maybe that was it, and she said she would check in our room while we were gone that evening. But when we returned, the television still didn't work and there was no indication that anybody."

"The owners were very friendly and I was attracted to the property because of the high ratings it was given. It’s not a property that you would drive by and say, I’d like to stay there. However, they’ve put a lot of thought into it and even provide a fire pit and smores kits in the lobby so you could roast marshmallows if you wanted. The rooms are decorated nicely and the clientele staying on both side of us were very nice couples like ourselves. We got to know them and they felt the same way. I would definitely stay there again and the rates are inexpensive compared to the large chains and other properties. Highly recommend."
