"We spent 5 days here while we explored Salisbury, Stonehenge, and Bath. Small room, but comfortable bed. No elevators and 4 flights to room, although they helped with our luggage. And they had great entertainment on the weekend. Very good location. Would have liked a fridge. Recommend!!"

"We stayed twice in quick succession, the first room was very small, but the second room was quite nice. It is an 800 year old building so not everything is perfect, but the food and service is great. The bathrooms were clean in both rooms. Parking is half a block away, so you need to plan out the unloading/loading a bit, that turned out to not be a big deal, but not expecting that caused us to spend quite a bit of extra time initially."

"Really great location close to the train station. Staff were really helpful, especially with storing bags after check out. Room was clean, although the bathroom did have a lingering solvent smell, like it had recently been repainted. The hotel itself runs its own shuttle service to Stonehenge which was super convenient. Breakfast was good too."

"Well presented period property, tons of character, situated on the River Avon. 20 mins level walk through the water meadows right into the centre of Salisbury, lovely quiet location. On site restaurant, good selection of real ales, limited parking on site. Rooms are clean, comfortable beds and lovely en-suite facilities. Staff are friendly and have good local knowledge. Will definitely stay here again."

"I had a whirlwind stop, not getting to the hotel till 9.30pm, what was nice, was to be shown to the room and not just handed a key. Room was spacious and modern, lovely and clean with everything you need. Breakfast was excellent. I didn't get chance to explore but the setting at the rear with the river looked glorious."

"We used this location to visit Stonehenge as well as the Old Harry Rocks/Dorset Coast in general. It was also convenient and easy to sneak a day trip into Bath from this spot. It was perfect for our longer days, coming back to a clean apartment with all the amenities to cook our own meals. The kitchen was well equipped and had everything we needed. On site parking is available for £5 per day or if you arrive by train it’s a mere 100 meters to the station. If you arrive by train, the location is very walkable to grocery stores and local attractions (Salisbury Cathedral). Staff were super responsive in the Expedia chat and very friendly. It’s a self check in / check out, with staff on site in case you experience any issues. The fridge/table was also stocked with complimentary breakfast items which was a nice touch. There is a full laundry room, again stocked with laundry detergent, stain remover, etc. Would absolutely recommend staying here and if I am ever back in the area, I would stay here again myself."

"Lovely building with great views of the cathedral. Rooms clean and spacious. Booked 2 twin rooms for 4 pensioners. Only criticism was one room had bath with a shower head but no shower curtain or wall fixing to secure the shower head to have a shower. Wasn’t expected and was rather inconvenient for elderly occupants. That said we had a lovely stay"
