"The property is located perfectly for glacier lagoon and diamond beach. The thermal spas, sauna, and view of the glacier from the property are outstanding. The restaurant is quite good and the breakfast buffet is excellent/worth the money. The bar and lounge areas are really nice/tasteful. Like most hotels in Iceland, the rooms are not air conditioned...so the room was very hot in early September. They offered us a fan. The rooms are very small. You are paying for the amenities and proximity in my opinion!"

"Wonderful oasis in a stark landscape. We stayed here so we could visit the glacier lagoon. We met some nice fellow travelers at the happy hour. Breakfast spread is impressive. Dinner is expensive. Charcuterie at bar was delicious!!"

"Shared bath was clean, accommodated my late arrival, good wifi, and plenty of privacy. It's only a few minutes a way from the boat tours if you're interested in that. Would definitely recommend for travelers in the south."

"The staff was super nice going extra mile to get gluten free bread for my wife. Free breakfast was nice. And it turned out to be a nice place to see Northern Lights right from the yard!"

"The room was clean with a nice view of the coastal area with grazing sheep just outside. The food at the restaurant was top notch and locally sourced. The outside of the guesthouse was eclectic with a main check in and housing area with a connected dining area, and a long building with several rooms as well as some newer looking separate cabins. We stayed in the long building in a triple that had 3 twin beds. The room was clean and everything worked well. The people that worked there were extremely courteous, helpful and friendly. I would stay there again. I thought that it was a value considering the prices that rooms on this part of Iceland go for."
