This is a great boutique hotel in a prime location within Florence. We were basically at the edge of San Marco plaza, only 5 mins away from The Galleria dell'Accademia and maybe 10 mins away from the Duomo. A 15 min walk will get you to Santa Maria Novella station. But even though were were close to everything, it still managed to be pretty quiet. The room itself was decently sized and really cute. I love the contemporary boutique style decor. Bed was decently comfortable, though the pillows were a tad lumpy and the blankets were rather thin. You can always ask for an extra blanket though. There's an element of a service apartment here, like the electronic keypads used to get in and out. There is a reception area, but only during certain hours of the day. You can reach out to staff with Whatsapp, but also within the hours of service only. This was fine for our purposes since we didn't need anything outside those hours. Staff were friendly and communicative on Whatsapp.

Very nice little hotel in a fantastic location. 7 minutes walk to the Duomo. The room size is ok. Water presuure for the shower is good and the bed is comfortable.. this is not a luxury hotel, if you are after a clean, good room to stay while exploring Florence, this hotel is a good option.

Excellent location, steps from airport tram and short walk to the Duomo. They held our luggage while we enjoyed Florence after check out. We arrived just before midnight and were able to enter the building with the provided code without any issue. And they have a lift! Grateful for that!!

I felt safe with their code system to come and go. The location couldn't have been better. Everything I wanted to see was in walking distance. The room was very clean. The staff was nice and helpful. I really enjoyed my stay there.

Property was very nice and inan excellent location. Very easy to find an easy entry. The rooms were very clean and well looked after and looked like they had had a Reno. we would definitely stay there again. Our only comment would be the initial entry is very Sketchy looking and not very clean. Once you get up to the floors of the hotel, it is fine.

I almost didn’t stay here because the keyless entry instructions sounded intimidating. I’m so glad I did! Don’t let the codes scare you. You receive one code, memorize it and you’re set. Enter the beautiful old building, use it for the tiny elevator, step out into the hotel and use it again for your room. After walking Florence all day, stepping off the elevator and practically into my room was glorious. The room was divine. Soaring ceilings made it feel surprisingly spacious, and every usable inch was thoughtfully designed: comfortable bed, modern bathroom, desk and chair, storage and plenty of outlets. The AC is fantastic. I sleep at 65°F and this room could get even colder! Still and sparkling canned water were a thoughtful touch and perfect to grab when heading to the train. Even the TV can easily be switched from Italian using the remote. I loved my peekaboo views over the Florentine rooftops. The mix of historic Florence outside and modern comfort inside was exactly what I hoped for. Step outside and Florence is everywhere. The tram is practically outside, there’s a church across the street, countless places to eat, a grocery store nearby, and the Duomo is only minutes away on foot. I normally stay in 4.5 star and luxury hotels, and I wanted for absolutely nothing here. I booked two nights and genuinely didn’t want to leave. Hotel Miceli didn’t just give me a place to sleep, it made my time in Florence better. I cannot wait to return. ❤️ It was perfect in every way.

The daily cleaning, friendly and helpful staff. A small refrigerator in the room would make the room perfect. To keep cold water and food items. Restaurants in Firenze are expensive 😫.
