"Perfect spot on the sea front. Close to everything. We had dogs, room perfect and staff very friendly. Can walk to shops nearby lots of bars and restaurants. Beautiful walk along the seafront."

"We had a 'cozy' room, meaning tiny, but it was nicely furnished with a TV and nice bathroom with a strong shower. The receptionist staff was friendly and helpful, pointing out the happy hour at the bar. 2 for 1 deal plus a cheese plate. The hotel is centrally located with parking behind ( parking in Canterbury is expensive). Very close to the town center and restaurants. Decent breakfast choices. The 14th century building successfully marries old and modern."

"The hotel location is great the hotel is a little old but that adds to the charm, however the staff are outstanding with the breakfast team especially being cheerful smiling all morning. The breakfast was better than we expected, and we will definitely stop her again."

"Excellent stay at this hotel. I was greeted by a friendly member of reception staff and check-in was quick. My room was clean and tidy and contained everything I required during my stay. I'll definitely return here when visiting the area again."
