The Charleston Oceanfront Villas are enviably located right on the sand in Folly Beach, less than a block from Center Street and its many shops, restaurants, cafes, and bars. Sign up for a surfing lesson or a paddleboarding session with one of the recreational outfitters on the island, or observe brown pelicans at Skimmer Flats in Folly Beach County Park less than two miles west. You'll also be only 12 miles south of downtown Charleston, with its fascinating history, rich culture, and world-class cuisine.

We had a great stay and the location was perfect. We got the view of beaches and a 20 minute drive over to do things in Charleston. The places clean and as described. Who knew surfing was so popular there. Hours watching that from the large balcony. Food options are within walking distance as well. It was a great stay.

View was amazing. we had a great time only complain it too 24houres to get the Fab to enter pool and go to the beach told us we will get it .... then again till we really complained. They were please be patient??? For how long we were only there 3 nights. Unite was good everything there you need. would go there again

We enjoyed the perfect location, the direct beach front views from living room, master and large balcony. Beds were super comfy and the temp inside the condo was perfect. It was HOT outside. We needed more towels and they brought them within a few hours. My only comment is the large kitchen knives need a good sharpening! We loved it!

Great property for our family if 7 (5 adulrs & 2 children). Wonderfully furnished, well stocked kitch, games, abd if course an amazing ocean view. I got all my needed steps in climbing stairs to the 3rd floor multiple times a day. Love walking to Center Street for shopping, dining, & entertsinment. Easy walk to the pier, by street or sand.

Incredible Ocean View

My husband and I go to the beach every April and this unit has the most incredible ocean views we have personally ever experienced. Even though we arrived on a rainy day, we were able to sit on the large, covered porch and watch the waves. This view is glorious inside as well, visible from the living room, kitchen and master bedroom. The unit itself is large and well laid out, with a large functional full kitchen. It was well cleaned when we arrived and had everything that we personally needed. The master bed was comfortable and with the sounds of the ocean permeating the space, we slept very well. Check in/out was easy and the beach is just a few steps away. We will definitely be back! Thank you!

Great ocean views, comfortable beds, some dated/broken furnishings

This property had great views of the ocean, was very spacious and clean and had comfortable beds. It was also very conveniently located to all of the shops and restaurants. However, several of the dresser drawers were broken and could not be put back on their tracks, the non-stick pans were unusable - stained and extremely scratched up and contacting vacasa to get this resolved was not an easy process - i was bounced around from a central text messaging system to a local office to a "care taker" and had to repeat the same request multiple times as well as send pictures - this is not how i want to spend my vacation time. I also didnt appreciate that maintenance people came in during my stay to measure windows...Seems like this could have been planned in the off season, since this was a building wide thing, not in response to a problem. For these reasons, i can't give it 5 stars.

If Views Could Kill....

The minute you step in the condo, you are mesmerized by the views!! It's the perfect location for a cool weather beach vacation! You can "feel' the beach, without feeling the cold :) The accommodations were perfect for our family of 8. Plenty of seating room in the common space for fellowship, and good space in the bedrooms. The kitchen was well stocked and functional and the entire space was tidy and clean. We were very pleased with everything and would love a repeat visit! If I could be nit picky and give any feedback - it would be - - - hangers in the closets or more drawer space. . .and the request to 'leave parking passes in the room upon departure" resulted in us getting a bit scolded by a garage attendant who observed us with no tag, but no big deal, a little common sense telling him we were leaving solved that problem :)

The view is beautiful from the balcony. It. Please know you will need to have your own beach towels, beach chairs, etc. Please bring hangers as well. Lol. The rental staff was very prompt and professional.

Great location

This was perfect to be able to bring my mother and grandmother. The unit is just across from the elevator which is what we needed. The view was amazing. My grandmother got to experience her first sunrise on the beach. The trip was priceless.

Perfect beach location

Condo perfect for a family of 5. Short walk to shops and restaurants. Elevator was very slow so wish they could fix that but overall a great find.

Even the weather was good.

We knew we were taking a chance going to the beach in January, but it was far better than we expected. The villa was as promised. Everything we might need and more. Everything was in working order and we had a very lovely time.

December 2022 - 1 week stay

Can see the sunrise and pier from your bed in the master bedroom. Very clean and large unit conveniently directly in front of the elevator, but with the entrance nicely 'tucked' in a 'recessed' entrance (can leave your sandy beach shoes & stuff outside) shared with another unit so people aren't staring at your front door while at the elevator. Nice size (3) bathrooms one of which is shared by 2 bedrooms. Balcony accessible from living room and master bedroom, with 180 degree view of the beach. Nicely equipped kitchen. Ocean comes right up to the property. Property is gated (arm that raises and lowers) and fenced. Parking is nice and open with plastic shopping carts to aid in unloading/loading your things. FOB controlled gates to pool and beach access. Easy walk to center of town. I've stayed many times on Folly. This is now on my list of favorites I'd stay at again.

Nice location

I loved being walking distance to everything on Folly. The unit was nice. However there were a couple issues. The windows/sliding doors were so dirty I thought they were fogged up. We had to clean them to see the ocean. Cracker crumbs on both couches and sand on several of the upholstered cushions. All in all, the unit was nice and included everything we needed. The beds, baths and kitchen were clean. Walls seemed to be recently painted. I would stay there again.
