"The room at Suburban Studios was very clean and seemed fairly recently painted. It had a full size fridge, stovetop, microwave, and sink in the kitchen area. The exterior of the building was under renovation at the time. Despite the clean room, I would not stay here again. I didn’t feel safe. There was one arrest, ambulance and fire truck at 3 am, loud banging on my door telling me I need to move my car for the painters - wasn’t my car that needed to be moved, strangers outside of my door at 1 am one night, the smell of weed one day, people hanging outside at 11 pm, etc."

"I've stayed in several hotels around Wake Forest University while visiting my child who attends WFU and this was my first at the Best Western. The Best Western is by far the best value. It's clean, customer service was pleasant and they have a nice free breakfast. This is right across from the Marriott which is about 40% more expensive - I noticed no difference in quality (both are quality options). This is my new hotel while visiting WFU."

When I went to report this to the staff they canceled my reservation and told me to find somewhere else to stay, and refused to refund me for the 2 rooms I paid for to stay in for 2 nights."

That level of responsiveness made the entire process stress-free, especially when coordinating arrival times.The property itself was clean and well-maintained, with comfortable furnishings and all the basic amenities needed for a short stay. The kitchen was stocked with essentials, and the Wi-Fi was reliable.
