At the inlet in Ft Pierce. We saw this guy walking along the beach for a while, and then he decided to swim out. Didn't know tortoises could swim. Beautiful place to anchor and explore between the jetty on one side and the state park on the other. We also took the boat back in the small islands and had dolphin swimming around us! #wanderlust.

This was the first time I’ve had to immediately leave a hotel upon arrival. The room was not cleaned, had no sheets on the bed, hair and pests throughout, and a shower window that appeared to expose the entire bathroom to the courtyard. The AC barely worked and there was no way to reach a live person ...

Our room was renovated and very clean. It’s obvious the owners are making an effort to upgrade the hotel. The check-in gentleman was very nice. There was microwave in fridge. Wi-Fi and TV. Central to food and gas and major highway.

The Seaspray Surf Lodge is a true gem. Great location right across from South Beach Park with easy access to the beach. Neat rooms with a 1950's vibe but completely updated furniture and decor. The whole place is also just the right size, intimate and quiet.
