The staff at the Royal are always very helpful and we've nevr had need to raise issues regarding room clenliness. We always book a room with a view of the botanic gardens. "

"The worst hotel! This is the second time we have stayed there, however, it looks like it has changed hands as this time was terrible. We booked three rooms for the weekend and we had problems with every single one of them. The bathrooms weren't clean, they charged us $20 for early check in, although the room was ready, they had a fire drill at 8am and came knocking on the door to wake us, very very rudely. Stay away from this place."
