"Property was perfect for a family of 4. Rooms were a great size and lots of storage for clothes. Well equipped kitchen and the location was great. Really easy access to coop and other facilities in Wooler and an easy drive out to the coast. Highly recommend."

"The house was mostly comfortable but needs some upkeep. The communication with the host was a challenge and they did not reply to most messages (even an acknowledgment of receipt would be okay). One of the showers we could not adjust the temperature, 2 of the showers had mold. One of the biggest challenges was trying to cook as the cookware is very worn and some of it unusable. It would be nice to have a few basic essentials such as salt and pepper and hand soap upon arrival to get things...

"We had a wonderful time - Cottage is perfectly placed - 50 yds from a choice of wonderful walks left to the Harbour & on to St Abbs Head, or turn right to Coldingham and beyond. Very impressed with the accommodation - cosy and comfortable. Could not have asked for a better place to stay, and the Tunnocks wafers were a very nice extra - thank you!"

"Stayed fir 3 nights. With 10 adults. Lovley big house. Plently of room Comfortable beds. Some paintwork a.bit.shabby which was a shame. Only down side was it stated a clockroom i thought that.meant a downstairs toilet but it was just a place eto hang coats. This was difficult as some of the party was eldery and found the stairs difficult to navigate, butmon the whole we had a great.time."

"A gorgeous and very comfortable house for me and my family( me, husband, 2.5 yr old and 5 month old). Great location for the beach and 20 min walk to St. Abbs. Lovely beds, very comfortable and the kitchen was really well equipped. It was so great to have loads of dishwasher tablets, washing machine pods and coffee pods!! Thank you!"

"This place was fantastic. Location was great to visit all the towns nearby. The house was nicely furnished with all the amenities. Lots of space to move around. The last evening was chilly so we had a fire and it really warmed the place up!"

It was apparent that the property manager, Jacqueline, had considered the needs of guests, with everything needed for a self-catering stay provided and a generous welcome pack with tasty local produce provided too.
