"We had a great stay at this property. It was perfect for a long weekend getaway for my family. Fenced in yard was perfect for our dog. Great location close to both Geneva and Penn Yan."

"The Green Duck is a delightful cottage with everything we could want for a getaway, and we highly recommend it!The house is cheerful and clean. It has A/C window units, but we mostly just opened the windows and set up some fans, and got a wonderful lake breeze to keep it comfortable.The location is perfect! Right above the water, very private compared to most waterfront properties, and yet close to shopping, some of our favorite wineries, and some really good restaurants. The hot tub is amazing and once you get it up to temperature it's pretty easy to keep it there for successive uses. Go for a quick dip with your morning coffee and fantastic views of the lake!Jonny is a gracious host, provides just about everything you might need, and is very responsive. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay at the Green Duck again!"

"The home is lovely! It is fully equipped & spotless! It's definitely located in wine country!Be careful entering & departing! The highway is verybusy!You might enjoy a visit to the Curtis Museum inHammondsport. Plus, the Women's Right's Museumin Seneca Falls!Communication w/the host was always prompt!"

"Overall, the house was great! The host was super kind and helpful! We stayed her for my friend’s bachelorette trip weekend and had an amazing time at the property and the surrounding wineries! We were a little disappointed in the dock because it was not what the picture looked like and was unusable. I hope they get this fixed soon, along with the steps down to the lake that were a little sketchy. The cups also needed to be cleaned out better. Like I said overall, the house was great and the owner was super kind! I’m glad we stayed at this property!"

It has everything we need for a relaxing stay, and we especially appreciate that it's pet-friendly, making it easy to bring our pups along. The owner is responsive and quick to address any questions or needs. We look forward to coming back highly recommend this wonderful home."

"Great location and amenities. House comes with all you can need for water access, paddle boards and a kayak. It had a dock that you can enjoy the water or fish. We did see fish jump around but was not lucky to get a bite. Location is also great, you are surrounded by several wineries and not too far to either Geneva or Penn Yan for more activities. If you have young kids , train passes daily - somedays couple times so it was always exciting to see it up close."
