"We would definitely stay here again! The town of Penn Yan is a close drive and has a great park and local activities during the summer. It is a 10 min drive to Keuka College which has free kayaks and paddle boards. Less than 5 min from the parking for Cascade and Seneca Mills falls. 20 min from Watkins Glen which has waterfalls a state park with swimming pools and a great park on the lake."

"Central location, the canal is right across and onsite kayaks were a great addition. Kitchen has everything we were looking for. Two gripes I had were the cleanliness of the rooms upstairs, they were a little dusty and our room had way too many spiders. Also, one room smelt of weed, but after turning on the provided fans the smell seemed to go away a little. The other thing is the noise from outside does travel in, keeping the fans on helped a little with white noise.Customer service for the property promptly picks phone and responds - One standing fan was missing blades but was promptly replaced. Bathroom showers are small, so there was no way to avoid water splashing out during a shower. However, I like they had enough towels for our group of 8- I only had to launder the towels once during our 4 night stay, They have provided a lot of board games to play, our group with younger/older kids and adults really enjoyed using it after a long day outside. We also enjoyed the grill outside, but be careful there might be a very cute tabby cat that might be looking for some tidbits to eat :)"

"This is our 2nd time staying here. This time a different host. Still had the same great experience. Check in was easy. Responses from host were prompt and detailed. We will absolutely stay here again in the future. We truly love this little place."

"The host has done a wonderful job on providing a comfy, clean, and inviting space which is a convenient location to all of your downtown shops and eateries. Initially, we thought the downtown location may have some challenges, but the parking was very easy and right around the corner and we slept like babies in a comfortable bed. The only initial issue, was no coffee grinder for the beans, but the coffee shop is right across the street."
