"This was a great place to stay!! I will definitely stay again. We had a room with an ocean and view and it was well worth the price to be able to step out on your balcony and have the ocean right there…beautiful!! The fitness room closed at 11 so that was the only bummer. Awesome place!! "

"I was alittle nervous about this stay based on some negative reviews because I booked a 3 day weekend in May and then 2 more rooms to stay for a week in July but I have no idea what some expect. We travel frequently, have stayed in hotels 5x more expensive, and we loved our stay here. The staff was so friendly and went over and above to assist us. The hotel and rooms were very clean and nicely decorated. The hotel has a beautiful charm to it from the lobby to the rocking chairs on the porch. My only suggestion is to bring a split charger for phones as there aren’t as many outlets as new hotels which I would assume is because the majority of things that need plugged in weren’t around when it was built. Also, it sounds odd to say but the lobby smells amazing, I wish I knew what that smell was to bring it home. It’s a beautiful, historic hotel with an amazing location, lovely staff, nice coffee/cocoa bar, the absolute best porch, and clean, lovely room. We can’t wait to return! "

"We stayed there to have a comfortable place for viewing our graduate in the annual SDHS Senior Boardwalk parade! We had a corner 3rd. floor room. The hotel is relatively quiet. Some Boardwalk noise until about 10 or 11pm when the stores close for the night. Room was comfortable with a little fridge/sink and coffee area. Big TV and bathroom. I loved being able to watch the sunrise from the balcony!"
