"If you’re looking for a place to sleep close to Holiday World, this is the place to stay. If you’re looking for a fancy spot to rest, this isn’t it. We thought the lobby was cute with all the Christmas themed items. The employees we interacted with were friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet was solid, better than most hotel breakfast. It is definitely an older place that could use some updates. It does have a lodge/log cabin feel but I think a refreshing could help. It looks like someone is building new apartments/hotel nearby so maybe competition will help drive up the improvements. If we need 1 night to stay in the future, we would consider. But if it was a multi-day stay, we would likely look elsewhere."

"Property was very nice and clean. Cell phone reception not so good but I didn’t mind. Close enough to French Lick and Patoka lake to access a variety of boat ramps. Would like to see a list of things to do at check out in the cabin. But overall nice place to stay!"
