"When you consider that the hotel started its life as a coaching house in the 1840s it is nigh on 200 years old! It is quirky and still has the feel of buildings that were designed at the time - it has great character, is very comfortable and ideally situated in the city centre. The management clearly take a lot of pride in the hotel. Great place. "

Our room was clean and our bed was comfortable. We would recommend a stay here for anyone prior to a cruise. The concierge arranged taxi reservations and the coordination of transportation to the cruise terminal for the guests. This was helpful."
