"As a solo female traveler, I opted for this beautiful hotel in Glenrothes. It was centrally located to all things on my itinerary, and was very affordable for my, almost, two week stay! The hotel staff was the most welcoming staff I have ever witnessed, and it truly made all of the difference for my first big trip! The hotel has an option for continental breakfast, or you can request a full Scottish breakfast cooked as well! They have a restaurant right downstairs, and a bar to accompany that...

"We received such a warm welcome at The Boars Head. It felt like everything in the room was really high spec. Loved that we had a stocked fridge (you had to pay for most items, though!) with free milk and a free dram each, too! A espresso machine with good choice of coffees and tea bags. "This is a beautiful hotel with lovely grounds and outdoor seating. Very friendly welcome from reception on arrival. A big room and spacious bathroom with large walk in shower. Very comfortable huge bed. Lovely high tea in restaurant. Nice lounge and bar where we enjoyed a drink and played pool and darts. A novelty for our 2 grandchildren.
