"The property seems to be recently updated, it is modern, and clean. The amenity is lacking a few things (for example, it tells the guest to wash dishes and put them away but doesn’t provide a clothe to dry them). Also, the instruction isn’t super clear. The instruction reads to leave the key on the table when checking out (that’s what it says literary in English), when in fact you need to lock and put the key in the lockbox as one example. Also the road to access the property is quite narrow...

"We stayed at Candeo Hotels Osaka Namba for 3 nights in May and overall had a good experience, mainly because of the excellent location. The hotel is only around 500 metres from Dotonbori and the Shinsaibashisuji shopping district, with countless restaurants, shops, arcades, and department stores nearby. This is definitely the biggest reason to stay here. The room was small at around 19sqm, but very clean, quiet, and the beds were extremely comfortable. Staff were friendly, attentive, and had a reasonable understanding of English. Google Translate helped a lot during our stay. Breakfast was decent overall, although western options were limited. One downside was the room temperature in the mornings. Heat and sunlight through the windows became very intense, so we needed to keep the air conditioning running on cold to stop the room heating up quickly. The room was comfortable again by afternoon and evening. The laundry facilities were unfortunately terrible. Everything required an app called AQ Connection with Japanese-only instructions and no coin or cash option. The dryers were also very inefficient and expensive compared to typical coin laundries elsewhere in Japan. Overall, while we enjoyed the stay, we felt AUD $1,000+ for 3 nights was a bit expensive considering the small room, average view, and poor laundry facilities. However, the location is outstanding and makes this hotel a strong option for exploring Osaka."
