Ryokans in Fukushima Prefecture

Our room overlooked the treed face of the cliff, down to the stream at the bottom. It was very relaxing. The staff were all very welcoming, and the half board dinner and breakfast were amazing.

Magical setting!!! Amazing staff, wonderful breakfast and super clean! Beds were comfortable and onsens were therapeutic!

We stayed in a Japanese-style room with a city view, and the view from the 12th floor was amazing. We arrived before 3:00 p.m., and our room was ready within five minutes. However, we noticed a large dust ball on the floor, which concerned us slightly since we slept directly on the floor for two nights. The hotel is located on a hillside, and the restaurant only operates during breakfast and dinner hours. Fortunately, the breakfast and dinner buffets made our stay easier and allowed us more...

Staff is very kind

The area and property were nice and clean. My husband and I enjoyed the hot spring baths and meals. The rooms and beds were very comfortable. We would be happy to go back again!

Everything was great. We stayed for one night then relocated to another ryokan in Aizu 50 minutes away for two nights based on other reviews. This ryokan was in a residential area and a short walk of the train station. The other was in a samurai town that required a short ride via taxi. Can take the bus with multiple stops or set up a prearranged ground transport that uses a van.

This place was absolutely wonderful! My first time experiencing an onsen and it was amazing. The shuttle pick up and drop off from the train station was great. The welcoming staff at check in/check out. The room I selected was AMAZING!! So serene and quiet. I got the private bath with my room, and boy was it relaxing. The Yunomori onsen ryokan was one of the best places I've ever stayed at. The Kaiseki breakfast and dinner was incredible and the staff were 10/10 amazing. We had an in-room onsen and it was perfect. The entire place was clean and incredibly cozy. I would absolutely recommend Yunomori to anybody! It's a short walk to Yuno Lake nearby and also some beautiful waterfalls. I highly recommend this place to stay in Nikko. It was a very special experience for us.
