"The location is perfect; it is about three minutes from the train station. The staff is accommodating, and the room is pristine and clean, with many amenities. The only thing I didn’t like was no bottled water in the room. Water is available in the hallway from a picture. "I never leave reviews but this was truly unforgettable. We booked the private onsen room on the first floor. Simply incredible, the ultimate ryokan experience. The room, onsen, and views were beautiful. On top of that, the staff were outstanding. The dinner and breakfast in the private dining room were delicious. "We had an excellent stay at this hotel. The location is just a few minutes away from the bus station. About a 15 minute walk to Sanmachi area. They provided yukatas for us to wear. The bath was nice and relaxing. We enjoyed our Japanese traditional breakfast. The staff were excellent and attentive. We would recommend staying here if visiting Takayama! "
