"I will always stay here in Genoa. Get off Brignole train station. Hotel is 1200 meters from station- but a world away. On arrival greeted by name, simple streamlined registration. Room large, airy; large windows w 100% blackout curtains. Nice bathroom and dressing area. Nice balance bt soft and firm mattress. Didn't love pillows. Breakfast was good, hot food and continental with some regional specialties. Easy routes to any sites of interest. Pharmacy next door, GREAT restaurant family operated; "Stallone" 2 blocks away. Open latish. Meticulous housekeeping. Uniformly helpful and pleasant desk personnel. 10 minute walk to shopping. 15-20 minutes to the old port. Bus stop across street. Two older women we felt very safe at all hours. I am unreservedly enthusiastic about this hotel experience."

"This was one of the nicest places I've ever stayed. The host is an absolute gem -- he picked me up from the train station and made sure I had everything I needed for my month-long stay. The communication was instant and always helpful. In the apartment he has pretty video everything you'll need -- from a dozen folders of places to visit in Genova (along with guides and maps), to extra water, yogurt, TP, etc. In addition the apartment is spotlessly clean and has everything from extra towels, kitchen towels, tissues, cotton balls, shampoo and soap, scissors, extra chargers -- the host had thought of everything. The apartment is spacious with a separate living room, kitchen and bedroom. The apartment is located in a beautiful residential neighborhood with a stunning vista a dceasy access to downtown and the port by bus #35 which runs frequently. There are not a lot of restaurants in the neighborhood but there is a friendly bar around the corner for both caffè and aperitivi. Giorgio is truly a wonderful host and I can't wait to return to this apartment and to the city. "

"We arrived after midnight, tired and hungry the helpful person at the front desk let us know that if we wanted to go out (we absolutely did not) we might find a place open nearby or we could purchase the frozen meals from their freezer and they would heat them up for us we liked the look of the lasagna, the man brought it to our room along with drinks, plates and utensils. The room had everything we needed and check out wasn’t until 12 noon we really got some quality sleep during that time. I ran down right before breakfast closed to bring back some food to our room and all of it, was well cooked and delicious. The front desk called us a taxi and we headed for our Cruise. I would definitely return, for a longer break."

"Imposing modern hotel handily placed for exploring Genoa. Very welcoming staff who take care of your needs. Excellent breakfast provided to get you started. On the expensive side, but highly recommended. "
