"This is a beautiful hotel. The problem with it is that there is no way to open your window. We hit a very sunny warm week in Sweden and the room was stiflingly hot. We’re Australian and very used to heat so it was hard to sleep. "

"We were given a room suitable for a single person, with a small bed and only a single towel. During the night, all the electricity to the hotel went out. There was only a minimal breakfast, with no coffee or tea. The electricity had not reappeared by the time we checked out, and no repairman was evident."

"This not a hotel. It is a hostile. There is no on-site staff of any kind, and breakfast is a 5 or 6 minute walk away. Not a big deal, until you’re walking through freezing cold and rain before your first cup of coffee! That being said, it seemed clean, the building was quiet and pleasant enough. The kitchen was well-appointed and the room had its own bathroom (some rooms shared bathroom facilities). We only stayed 2 nights and they were pleasant enough. Probably a great place for someone...

"We stayed in order to catch an early morning ferry. As such, it was great that we could charge our electric car overnight. Also, there has been no issue with the ordered breakfast boxes (we had to leave before breakfast was served). All food intolerances were catered for. The room itself was small and properly cleaned. "Received good instructions for checking in when no one was at front desk. Room was very clean, shared a bathroom with another room, which was fine most of the time. TV had almost no channels available to watch. Location was great, safe neighborhood. Being on first floor, did not feel safe leaving windows open at night because there was no ability to prevent anyone from coming through them, therefore it was very hot in the room at night. Overall it was a nice place."

Lovely stay in a lovely hotel
"Booked a room through hotels.com. Everything went smoothly from start to the end. Staff was welcoming and friendly. Parking was free for hotel guests. Room was spacious and clean. Beds were comfortable. Breakfast had plenty of options and everything tasted good. All in all it was a good experinece. When life brings me back to Uppsala, I know where I will be staying. 😊"
