I chose this hotel for the first few nights after a transpacific flight because between travel and jet lag it’s hard to put up with a bad hotel afterward. This hotel exceeded expectations in every way: great breakfast, lovely spa and pool, thoughtful design, impeccable service, delicious breakfast, excellent location for hot springs. Perfect for a tired traveler, and as good a hotel as I have seen over 37 countries worth of travel.

The place was clean and luxurious and we had a view looking toward the mountains which was so nice from the in room tub. Overall, we enjoyed our time and felt like it was clean and in a convenient location that worked for us (in front of the xinbeitou mrt). The tub in the room had a weird, super loud draining noise, like need to cover ears, screeching high. The intro to the room was really nice. We wished that our toddler could soak or put his feet into the pools on the 12th floor but it...

Excellent location to everything Tamsui has to offer. I got a really cheap pedicure from the salon next door, comfy shoes from a store down the alley, food options galore nearby, and easy transit (I took a bus to excursions on the coast). This was my first time staying in this neighborhood, so I only used the hostel to sleep and shower. Perfect for this solo female traveler!

Staff is helpful and attentive. Room was comfortable (a little cold but that’s nice after a day in the heat). The cleaning staff is very friendly and their attention to detail in cleaning is the best I’ve encountered in any hotel. Bed linens are crisp and fresh smelling and the shower is luxurious. Laundry machines are a very useful amenity. The hot full service breakfast is delicious and the coffee is perfect!

Property very well maintained, Bed quite comfortable. Enjoyed both the pool and spa. Walkable to nearby attractions and eatery. Will definitely visit again!

Fantastic hotel. We got the dinner package, and the food was great. Service was excellent all around, as well. The only thing that would potentially hinder me from staying again is that several of the other properties in the areas that are also quite good are significantly less in room rates.
