Good location, great service, wonderful hosts ! First time I leave a review after more than a hundred bookings over the years... Stands out.

I think this was the most beautiful place I have ever seen. The decor is fabulous and the hosts Deon and Leanne were so lovely, they welcomed us with a wonderful tour and nice glass of wine. It felt like going to your dear friend’s fabulous home for a visit. The accommodations were superb. They have thought of everything you might need or want. And beautiful!!! Incredible boutique experience! From the moment we arrived, the staff treated us like royalty. Every attention to detail. A wonderful afternoon tea followed by happy hour. Thanks to Gert & Nadia for their warm welcome. The place is very clean! No matter what time of they day I went out once I was back, the room was clean and reorganized! I will definitely come back sometime in my life.

Excellent waterfront location, unique building with very helpful staff! We were the only guests as it was low season. there are several rooms on the property including one excellent suite on the top floor. but we stayed in the standard room. Standard English breakfast was served in the morning. Al was quiet and peaceful.

Great location and amazing staff

Spend one night at hotel traveling from Port Elizabeth to Cape Town. Hotel was very nice and would have liked to have spent more time participating in the activities. Back door of room opened onto the reserve and could see animals grazing from the room. Very nice place.

Our room was nice, by the entrance of the property. Very comfortable and with everything needed for a one night stay. Great breakfast. Nice common areas. Located a few blocks fron main street.

The Hilltop offers amazing views and top notch accommodations and great service. Hennie and Magda have created an ideal stop on the Garden Route and provide outstanding hospitality.

Our room was small, but very well designed and the view was to die for. Sitting outside at night was incredible. They have larger rooms and they all have a great view. Breakfast was very good.

Wow!! Where do I begin?! This was the best experience I have ever had at any hotel! Jossy our welcome host was Amazing! We got welcomed with a drink & bottle of Champagne. The establishment was impeccable! The attention to detail is unmatched! The owner - Bianca also came to me us at checkout to get a feel of our experience!! Best Place to stay in all of South Africa!! Best ever, nice experience, area around it perfect for nature lovers. The hotel location allows you to enjoy the night stars like no other place( except in the desert)

Beautiful property. We went on an afternoon game drive and a morning horse ride. The horse I rode was a well trained thoroughbred with spirit but restrain. I rode up to zebra, impala and wildebeest. One of the most enjoyable rides I’ve ever been on. There is a wide variety of game on the reserve and we were given an excellent tour by a very knowledgeable guide. I would love to come back or go on another safari with this group. You come for the animals and this places does not disappoint. It...
