"We recently used this hotel as a stay before a flight and it was the worst hotel I have ever used, I’m not sure why hotels.com are still advertising it. The hotel looks abandoned, our room had mould on the walls, stains on the curtains, plaster was falling off the wall, the window wouldn’t shut, lights kept flickering, the bathroom was filthy. We were located in the family room 11 when I asked the reception about changing she said they had no other family room and would not allow us 2 rooms, she said she would offer a refund if I contact hotels.com but they never answered their phone to them so I could only get credit back. Avoid at all costs it’s not worth the sleepless night."

"We (a family of six) had a fantastic stay at the beautiful bungalow on Carmel and Simon's property. The place is stunning — we especially enjoyed the lovely pool, the amazing garden, and the tennis court. Carmel and Simon were wonderful hosts: very helpful, welcoming, and attentive throughout our stay. The location is perfect for exploring London, Box Hill, Leith Hill, and many other great spots in and around Surrey and London. Highly recommended!"

"Our stay at Josie’s Snug was so perfect and exactly what we were looking for/needed! Adam was really helpful with communicating up to our stay and Jenny could not do enough to make sure our stay was complete when we forgot a few bits! We took the train in and grabbed a taxi up which was no trouble. The additional touches of croissant and jam and bathrobes were very welcomed. The hot tub was incredible. The room was spacious with a very comfortable bed. And the lake - what can I say? It was the highlight of our trip - pristine water and grounds offering a refreshing swim on warm days. This is just the perfect getaway if you’re looking to switch off from city life. We will definitely be back again."

"The property is fairly spartan and is a bit overpriced if clean. It was not. The entryway smells of regurgitated beer and the blanket for the pull out sofa clearly bore evidence of a nocturnal accident. Overall not awful, but not nice, and certainly not worth the price. We only stayed one night and relocated to the Marriott which incidentally was about the same price and pristine. "
