The apartment was very spacious and very well equipped with microwave, oven, grill and hob in the kitchen as well as kettle, coffee maker and fridge. I was surprised to find in addition to the usual items a washing machine. There was a lovely courtyard with private sitting area; throughout was a hot air balloon theme and a homely feel that sets it aside from your usual apartment. ...

"Quick one night stop over on route from UK via Cherbourg to Dordogne. 2 adults 3 young kids. We booked the wooden Summerhouse/Chalet because it was more fun for the kids. We got exactly what we booked, perfect. Our host was very friendly and helpful given our poor spoken French. Woke up with the song from the birds in the woods. Breakfast was perfect, great coffee, freshly baked bread, home made jams, apricots, yoghurts and pain au chocolat."

"The hostess/owner is fabulous! She went above and beyond to help make our stay in the Loire Valley run smoothly. She even drove us to and from the car rental agency! Breakfast is delightful, including home made jams, and the location is beautiful. I wish we'd had more time to stroll around the property. There is a small shared kitchen with plates/glassware, utensils and a fridge. Go to the Amboise market for picnic foods and dine al fresco on the property at one of the outdoor tables. Highly...

"This was the best place we stayed on our driving trip around France. The hosts were accommodating and friendly. The breakfast was great with a lot of jams made by the host. Even the dogs were very well behaved. The house was comfortable, clean, and modern. Parking was secure and we enjoyed the pool. Some of the other guests were return visitors and I understand why."
