The room is spacious, clean, and tastefully decorated. Perfect for your base in Genova. The location is very central. 4mins from Metro and close to the water. You can walk everywhere in Genova old town from here. She also gives the best recommendations for restaurants nearby. "

If you have heavy or lots of luggage, it is 8-10 euros from Genoa Centrale Principe. Wish I had known - I'd still have a phone. Given I had no phone and thus no directions, I was given a map and instructions which were very easy to follow. It is minutes from many of the must see places in Genoa. Genoa itself is probably one of my favorite cities in Italy. It has it's gritty side but in general, incredibly beautiful, accessible and walkable. Hotel Doria is a perfect place to set off on your adventure. Upstairs to the right great coffee bar too!"
