Exuma Sol - Stunning Views from this Oceanfront Beach Cottage

  • Located on the beach within Hideaways at Palm Bay Beach Club with magnificent beachfront views and spectacular sunrises. Welcome to Exuma Sol (Cottage 34)!

    Our Beach Cottage is perfect for a couple or family wanting extra space with two large bedrooms and two full bathrooms. We have many extras including a full kitchen, air-conditioning, three Smart TVs, Starlink Wi-Fi internet, washer/dryer, beach accessories (floats, towels, backpack coolers, beach chairs), and two comfortable porches with separate entries, as well as access to your own private deck with four lounge chairs overlooking the ocean, directly off of the front porch. Exuma Sol is an end unit giving you privacy and extra outdoor space only steps from the beach and calm waters of Elizabeth Harbour, with only a short beachfront stroll to Jolly Hall (arguably one of the best beaches on Exuma). Hideaways onsite restaurant (Splash) is only a two-minute walk away and also nearby within a short walking distance is August Bay and the famous Fish Fry.

    As we are part of Hideaways at Palm Bay Beach Club, our guests will have access to all amenities offered at the resort included in your rental rate with no additional fees. You will have daily access to the resort swimming pool and unlimited use of kayaks, stand-up paddle boards, and free shuttle service to George Town. There is free parking onsite just across the street.

    We truly hope you enjoy Exuma Sol as much as we do and have the vacation of a lifetime. Whether it’s lazy days at the beach or making memories out exploring, you will find that Exuma in so many ways will relax and rejuvenate your ‘Sol’.

Mike and Karilynn were amazing hosts. They made sure we had a fabulous vacation with their great communication before and during our stay. Everything we needed to travel around and enjoy Exuma was provided ( large beach towels, soft sided cooler bags, snorkel masks and great ice packs for the coolers ). Very clean and comfortable beds. Don't hesitate to stay at Exuma Sol. It's the perfect place in paradise. Steps from the beach, gorgeous views, and has everything you need. Exuma Sol is centrally located in Exuma and close to so many great restaurants and grocery stores. We weathered Hurricane Melissa while in Exuma and Mike, the owner and the other residents were phenomenal. Communication with Mike from booking until when we headed home was phenomenal and top notch. We can't wait to come back again.

Our family really enjoyed staying here. Mike’s communication was great and made sure we were set up and comfortable. They provide so much stuff ranging from complete kitchen utensils, coolers, ice packs, beach accessories, bug spray, etc.. Another group we went with weren’t so luck and their place didn’t have much of anything. It really makes a difference and we will be back!

Perfect island location

Exuma Sol was the perfect unit for our group. It was clean, comfortably decorated with an island flair, and had all the necessities plus so many extras. The location just outside of George Town gave us easy access to everything. Before, during and after our stay, Mike and Karilynn always responded to questions, recommendations, etc. very quickly. We can't wait to return and Exuma Sol will be our choice!

Heaven on Earth

I didn't think we could top last year's visit, but I think we just did. Everything was wonderful - the villa, the property, all the staff. Loved everything about Exuma Sol....except maybe the little bugs at night! They seemed to really like us though! Very much want to return, we are working hard to make that happen. Awesome place, exactly as advertised plus so many extras. Hosts are prompt and effective communicators, onsite maintenance excellent to help with any issues. Wifi within property excellent. Exceptional Exuma!

Our stay at Mike and Karilynn’s place in Exuma at the Hideaways was superb! The cottage was very cute and in a fantastic location to enjoy the beautiful waters off the coast of Exuma! Our host, Mike, was very communicative and available for questions we had prior to our trip. He made the check-in process an easy experience and shared tips about the island. If we’re ever on Exuma again, we would return to Exuma Sol!

We had the most amazing stay at Exuma Sol. We couldn’t have asked for a better host. Mike was kind, incredibly helpful and very proactive with communication. The condo was very well equipped with more amenities than we could’ve asked for. From beach towels and beach chairs to reusable grocery bags and a very well stocked kitchen. 10/10 Experience - First Time the Place Was Even Better Than the Pictures!

This was our first VRBO stay where the pictures didn’t do it justice—it was even better in person! Mike and Karilynn were awesome hosts. Leading up to our trip, Mike was incredibly communicative and went out of his way to make sure I was able to get our grocery order in and the delivery set up before we arrived, which was such a huge help.During our stay, we mentioned a very minor issue with an appliance (didn’t affect our experience at all), and it was fixed within hours. The place was spotless, fully stocked, and in a perfect location close to everything. Our kids (8 & 5) had an absolute blast, and we’re already booking our return trip. Hands down a 10/10

Great location/home

We had a great stay at Exuma Sol. The location and view couldn't be better. Steps from the beach and a short walk to Jolly Hall, one of our favorite beaches. The beach accessories are plentiful. Someone asked if we were owners because of all the stuff we were carrying...beach chairs, coolers, floats, towels...Mike and Karilynn have thought of everything. They were very communicative and even offered help when our flight home was cancelled. Highly recommend!

Beautiful location

Not only a beautiful location but conveniently close to groceries and restaurants. The place was clean, tidy, not cluttered. Beds were comfortable, never had trouble falling asleep. Loved the beach accessories which made our days at Jolly Hall beach more enjoyable. Jolly Hall is basically around the corner, beautiful stretch of beach and most days, very few people. Communication with Michael was easy and he always promptly replied. Definitely planning on staying at this location again.

Fabulous Beach Side Cottage

From our initial booking of Exuma Sol to the moment we checked out Mike and Karilynn were responsive and helpful to any questions we had and checked in everything was going well during our stay. This was our first time on Exuma and the location and property made our stay perfect, the cottage is clean and very comfortable with everything you need during your stay. The beach chairs, umbrella, towels and cooler bags were much appreciated for days on the beach and the stunning Jolly Hall beach is just a few minutes walk away. We enjoyed waking each day and having morning coffee on the deck and watching the world go by and left totally relaxed, thank you again Mike and Karilynn

Paradise

Exuma Sol is the perfect cottage, and the perfect location in paradise. From the initial booking to checking out Mike and Karilynn were so helpful and have everything you need just to relax and have no worries you left something behind at home because they have thought of everything and have it in Exuma Sol. The cottage is just perfect, right on the beautiful turquoise water and sits close enough to everything yet far enough to relax with a book or just enjoy the island breeze. The vibe of the island and Hideaways staff all are so helpful and make you feel right at home.
