This was our 7th or 8th trip to Exuma (from Fort Lauderdale) and once again we had a wonderful experience. February Point is a great neighborhood, so close to Georgetown shopping and basics. The rental is huge and has so many amenities. My husband loved the gym and I loved the family of sea turtles under our dock. Having the boat as part of the rental was THE BEST PART however. Exuma is all about having access to the water we have found. This truly made this our best vacation there yet!

So much to see at the bottom of your rental stairs ... turtles, fish, starfish, even a nurse shark swam by.

Awesome vacation

We loved this place! It was in a perfect location and had great views. We saw turtles every day at the dock. The pool area and restaurant are awesome and a short walk. Chris and Jeneise were easy to work with. Beds are comfy. We will be back! Great vacation!

Beautiful location and home. Definitely would stay again.

February Point is a beautiful community with an excellent restaurant, pool, hot tub, and beach area. The home was very spacious and well laid out with some excellent views of the ocean on each floor. The included boat was a game changer. Having the flexibility to use the boat as desired allowed us to explore many places in the Elizabeth Harbor and other areas that we otherwise would not have seen. Would highly recommend!

Beautiful Part of the World

This property is perfectly located very close to “downtown” George Town. February Point has a great restaurant, a good gym, nice spa and pool as well as tennis courts and beaches.The best part is access to the boat. With the boat you have 10 minute access to beaches and close barrier islands that have austin. bars and restaurants. The place had a few plumbing and electrical issues when we were there but the owners are active and will likely rectify them.

Amazing Vacation

Chris has a wonderful home that we were lucky enough to be able to stay in. Janise the property manager is amazing and very easy to communicate with. The house is perfect and right on the water. The boat being included made our vacation more fun and easier then having to do a separate boat rental. February point is beautiful. The restaurant Rusty Anchor is delicious. We were able to cook meals, relax, and enjoy the entire time. I highly recommend this property and we are already making plans for our return trip. Chris is an amazing host, very easy to communicate with. Cannot say enough good things about Janise. And again the location is perfect, the boat is an amazing bonus. You will not e disappointed.

Wonderful!

February Point is quiet and convenient. The house is very comfortable and everyone loved the view from their bedroom. The boat is perfect for cruising around the bay and the private dock made starting the adventure very easy. The host was quick to respond.

Great place to stay and having the boat was the best!

We had a great stay at February Point and having the boat made all the difference! We loved taking it out to the grocery and island hopping while we were there. There were plenty of floats and water toys to use in the water and watching the sea turtles from the dock was so much fun. The only issues we had were resolved during our stay. The water line in one bedroom toilet wasn't filling the tank and we got a late start to our first day due to the cleaning not being done until 5:30pm. The condo was beautiful, although there are still some areas needing to be upgraded. There had evidently been some water damage with some ceiling drywall missing, and some of the mirrors and drapes could use replacing. The kitchen was well outfitted and having a grill and outside space was great!

Having the boat was definitely a game changer! Loved being able to boat around to all the best spots and the markets! House had some minor issues and water pressure was extremely bad during our stay with our villa and the neighboring villa… other than that we loved the trip!

This place was as advertised. Rooms, beds, ammenities were fine. I did have a few issues, Property manager was a little slow to respond One issue was the day we wanted to take out the boat, it died and we had to call the owner to come fix,so no boating as planned that day...the next day, the boat was supposed to be fixed and it wasn't so we had to rent a boat at Minns which cost me about 400 extra...but if I wanted to go boating as planned that is what I had to do. The boat was brought to us that afternoon but I had already rented a boat. We did use it the next 2 days and it was great. Feb Point restaurant and bar was closed due to off season so that was disappointing but understandable. One of the more frustrating things was the TV and internet. We kept losing connection with the internet which cut off the TV. I had to reset the modem and TV box several times a day...including having to find the network number and re enter into the TV along with the password several times. Dish TV only worked 2 days then stopped. Never could get the master tv to work. The rain had us staying indoor 2 days so, for us, it was a big inconvenience. We did have a young man come to the door and said he needed to come in to check for bees. Being in a country where we didn't know anyone and didn't have a heads up about it, I didn't let him in. I emailed the owner and he said the man was legit looking for bees. Turned out, we did have bees! It wasn't bad, only a few dead ones

Family vacation

Beautiful property, great location, there’s a restaurant on the property, the boat was the most important thing to us and gave us the freedom to come and go as we please and explore. It was beautiful. The water pressure had a difficult time reaching the master shower on the 3rd floor. But we were so pleased with everything else we honestly didn’t care and could use one of the other 2 full showers on the 2nd level. We would definitely stay here again.

Perfect Island Home

Our stay was perfect. The house was exactly as described and is in a great, central location. The community pool is a short walk away and really nice as well. We had a lot of fun on the paddle boards and going out on the boat. (The boat is a HUGE plus for this property). Last, but not least, Janiece, the caretaker of the property, is a gem. Handles any little concern you may have immediately and gives you insights on the island. Absolutely loved our stay here - looking forward to next year.

Exuma Stay

Thank you Chris! My wife and i thoroughly enjoyed our stay at your lovely house! The ac was perfect even on the top floor! We used the boat to run over to Stocking Island. We visited Chat n Chill. Starfish beach and Sand Dollar Beach! We also took your boat to Hoopers Bay and fed the sea turtles romane lettuce. We took 403 pictures...(too many) thanks again!

Exceptional Property in Perfect Location

Our family stayed from Dec 30-Jan 6 at this beautiful home overlooking the water. The owner, Chris, and local property manager, Jeneice, are incredibly responsive and will do anything they can to make your stay perfect! The boat was such a great bonus to this property. We used it almost every day to visit Chat ‘n Chill, Stocking Island, & Starfish Beach. The location of February Point can’t be beat. Such a beautiful and secure resort. The only issue we had was the lack of water pressure, but I understand this is an issue in most places on Exuma. You will not be disappointed in this home.

Loved the stay! Had everything we needed and more! Lovely views of the water. The boat, kayaks and boards were a huge plus! Enjoyed the convenience of dinner at Rusty Anchor 1 night. Pool areas and beach so close and convenient. (Only disappointment- the hot tub was not working at the Feb Point pool area! ) Geniece at the house was very helpful!! Also loved Janice at the front entrance gate. Super sweet and friendly!! Saw large sea turtles and stingray around the dock and marina area!! Beautiful nature at its best!

Spacious and lovely!

We booked this villa because it included the boat, and having it was everything. Easy to handle and got us everywhere we wanted to go. Just a lovely addition that allowed us to truly explore. But the home itself exceeded expectations as well! Lots of room and built with nice materials. Washer/Dryer and Dishwasher were a must and it was wonderful to be close to the pool and restaurant. We couldn't believe the views and especially the fact that there were multiple sea turtles in the marina at almost all times. Chris and Jeneice were both fantastic. Highly recommend for a trip of a life time.

The property is in a great location and we really enjoyed our stay. I can't give it a 5 star rating though due to the fact that it is advertised as a 3 bedroom, 3 1/2 bath and we were never able to use the 3rd floor bathroom due to the low water pressure. I know this is not the owners fault, but it really should be advertised as a 3 bedroom 2 1/2 bath. We were able to take a shower outside where there was an outdoor showerhead. It would be nice if there was some kind of enclosure for the outdoor shower so you don't have to take a shower in your swimsuit. Also, most of group used the outdoor shower because even the second floor showers had low pressure. Other than that, we really enjoyed our stay and the owner was very flexible with our check in and check out times.

Family reunion

Adult children came from different states and we enjoyed our stay but there are things worth mentioning - the unit sleeps 6 not 8. The futons was a pull out couch with broken springs so that the really old mattress would just fall through if you sat on it let alone lay on it so, so couldn’t sleep one let alone two. Our adult daughter just slept on the couch in the den. Not a big deal, But worth mentioning.. I mentioned this to the house manager and she said she would look into it. The queen bedroom master shower was leaking into the happiest below. They were aware and the ceiling had been pulled back to expose the leak. A plumber came to seal it when we were there rendering the shower unusable for 24 hours.. sadly, the seal didn’t work so the leak continued during our stay. No big deal but we put a trash can to collect the leak but it did splatter and was definitely slippery and one of us fell.. again, maybe it got fixed. I understand it was difficult to get a Good plumber to fix it.. The boat was a nice addition and one of the main reasons we chose this house but, it has a 60 HP engine and only a small 8 gallon fuel tank. Definitley worth mentioning if you have a large group. You will need to go the marina every day which is not always fun but worth mentioning. Several of the door handles Out to deck would fall off every time you used them- again, we got used to it and laughed but with knowing .. the air conditioning on the top floor stopped working the last couple days

February Point villa with boat

Just returned from our second stay in February Point. We decided to go with this property because of the boat. Pros: Good communication with owner Jeniece was friendly and helpful Nicely landscaped neighborhood Location is convenient to Georgetown Rusty Anchor restaurant and a wonderful pool are right around the corner Boat was in good condition Comfortable beds Good air conditioning on second floor Lots of spices/ extras in the kitchen Nice balconies overlooking water Water toys/ floats etc. are provided Cons: No water on third floor during our visit (Not a problem for two couples. We stayed on the second floor) Water pressure was very poor in the showers. The outdoor shower had good pressure but is a shower head, not a designated shower. I used it the whole time, otherwise I wouldn’t have been able to get shampoo out of my long hair. Not a deal breaker for me, but you are walking downstairs to shower outside in the open. The main floor doesn’t cool nearly as well as upstairs. (Not a big deal, but it is noticeable.) There are a few minor things like knobs on drawers, screws on chairs that need to be tightened etc., but nothing major. No Home Depot or Lowe’s on Exuma! Having a boat at your disposal is a huge advantage. On our first visit in 2019, we rented a boat. Having to drive to get it and drop it off by 5:00 was not nearly as convenient. The beauty of Exuma lies on the water. We used the boat every day and loved it. Beautiful, beautiful water and beaches!
