"The Weinstadt has been completely renovated since our last visit about 12 years ago, and is of high-class quality. One unique feature in our room was the large landscape photograph above the bed and illuminated from behind—what a relaxing and tasteful idea! Staff was very attentive to our needs—and pleasant and welcoming. Breakfast (only meal served) was high-quality, with many choices. Two restaurants are next door. All-in-all, staying at the Weinstadt Hotel was a wonderful experience for us!! 6 stars out of 5!!"

"I was pleasantly surprised by my stay. The hotel is clearly quite new, however it is still very clean. I heard no noise from the street or hotel, as you can often here the next room in hotels like this. Breakfast was pleasant. All parts of the hotel were very clean and all staff very friendly. Great local position. "

"A warm and cosy typically German hotel. We arrived after 9pm and a key deposit box was used to gain entrance. However their was still a member of staff available and she gave us a warm welcome and provided us with much appreciated drinks from the bar. An excellent night's sleep followed by an amazing breakfast buffet. We were spoilt for choice with extensive hot and cold options and over 10 different types of jam to try- definitely worth having."

"Staff was really really helpful and friendly (and English-speaking). My only negative is that the road outside is INCREDIBLY noisy: if you’re there in summer, request a back-facing room on the 3rd floor. We had to switch rooms it was so bad. That said, there’s like only 2 hotels in Winnenden, so you don’t have a lot of choice. The rooms were good for the inexpensive price. "

"Arrived on a Sunday to find keys in envelopes had been left on the reception desk and my room was in the building next door. The front door to the building would not unlock. I was later advised it was not functioning been due to the sun. After multiple tries, also with someone elses card, I resigned myself to a night on the floor in reception. Then i found someone staying at the hotel who eventually found a way in through a door in the car park at the back of the building. Fortunately there is a garage nearby so i was able to buy a drink and snacks. Monday night the restaurant was also closed for a "rest day". Back to the petrol station. Tuesday morning i asked reception to book a taxi for me and gave them the address written on a piece of paper. The taxi driver arrived on time but took me to the wrong site. He was adamant that was the address he had been given and showed it to me on his phone. Overall, nice room, clean but the facilities were woeful with no food served on either night of my stay, a broken door and the wrong address given to the taxi driver. I shall not be returning to this hotel. Extremely disappointing for the price."
