"My husband & I and two other couples stayed at Penelope Home for 5 nights. The home is located about halfway between the 2 airports on Crete. (About an hour each direction) We liked the central location and enjoyed hikes, caves, the beach and other activities. The suggestions for restaurants and bakeries by our host were spot on. The host also handled our transfers which was very much appreciated."

"I felt at home immediately, and it`s seems bigger than on the pictures, very comfy bed and two bathrooms/shower with toilet. Kitchen was fully equiped. I found lots of goodies - herbs, tea, coffee shampoo,bodylotion etc.. But bring your own repellent the outdoor pool attractive for mosquitos. Very nice sitting area outside to relax and enjoy the pool. Vivi offered a shuttle servis from the parkinglot to the house, a steep 100 m walk. She drove my luggage with her Mini up to the house. Der nächst größere Ort Plakias ist zwar nur 15km aber auf der kurvigen Strecke 30min entfernt. Das Haus hat eine geschmackvolle Einrichtung, ein großes bequemes Bett und volle Küchenausstattung. "Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Die Zimmer sind sehr großzügig geschnitten und liebevoll eingerichtet. Alles Notwendige ist vorhanden. Nicht alles ist ganz neu, aber das unterstreicht den Charme des Hauses. Highlights waren für uns die große mit Wein überwachsene Terrasse und die vielen schattigen Plätzchen, z.B. unter dem Orangenbaum am Pool. Klitzekleiner Kritikpunkt: Die Matratzen in den Betten waren für uns eher hart, das ist sicher Geschmackssache. Fazit: Absolut empfehlenswert."
